Four year old Emmi raises thousands for poorly children...

Emmi Holland, better known as Rapunzel, wanted to help poorly children...
Emmi has never let her mum take her to the hairdressers but was inspired to donate 15 inches of her beautiful locks to charity after seeing a story on television about another child who had done the same.
Emmi’s mum Stephanie told us: “We were away for New Year and Emmi saw something on the TV about a little girl who had her hair cut for charity. She would never let us cut her hair so we looked into it a bit more and decided that Emmi could do the same but we’d give it a full year to grow. Then her hair grew so quickly we brought it forward to before she starts school. We won’t get it cut too short so it’s not too much of a shock.
Emmi said she wanted to donate her hair, which reached all the way down her back, to the Little Princess Trust and raise money for us because “I want to help the poorly boys and girls.”
Her mum continued: “We whittled things down to a few charities and when I explained to Emmi what Make-A-Wish does she understood it much better than all the others and said wishes should always come true.”
Emmi’s haircut was on 12 August, just before she was due to start school. After the chop, Emmi’s now sports a fab shoulder length bob!
Donations to Emmi’s online fundraising page have raised an amazing £3,285 to help grant magical wishes – an incredible achievement!
On it, her family quote Emmi saying: “I want to do this because it’s a nice thing to do and I really want to help the boys and girls who have been sick and lost all their hair due to nasty cancer… I am also going to try raise as many pennies as I can to give to the Make a Wish Foundation which helps make all the wishes of the very poorly boys and girls come true before they go to heaven. Please help me give as many pennies as I can, I am really happy to be giving my hair away and hope it helps some children be happy too.”
