Art of Wishes Gala 2023

The fourth Art of Wishes Gala took place on 9^th October 2023 and was one of the first events to be hosted at the spectacular new Raffles Hotel London at The OWO. This historical landmark was the perfect setting for such an incredible evening where some of today’s most recognised artists, gallerists, and celebrity talent gathered. Notable guests included Princess Beatrice, actor Luke Evans and artist Marina Abramovic.

The event raised an incredible £2.6m for Make-A-Wish UK, enough to fund over 1,000 wishes.

In partnership with the prestigious auction house, Christie’s, the Gala centred around an auction of artworks donated by leading artists along with a silent auction of incredible products and experiences. Taking place in the Ballroom at Raffles, a special live performance by Britain’s Got Talent Finalist, Olivia Lynes opened the Gala, followed by master of ceremonies, Vernon Kay who greeted guests by encouraging them to take part in the live auction. A mesmerizing acoustic performance provided by rising star Zak Abel was followed by the exclusive live auction hosted by global president of Christie's, Jussi Pylkkänen.
